If you have an issue that you need help with – housing, education, health, benefits, education, accessing legal advice – you can bring this to us, we will help you directly or connect you with the support you need.
Material
Support
WERS works with local food banks, charities and local communities to provide food parcels, toiletries, nappies and sanitary products, clothes and basic household goods. If you need this practical support please contact the office or visit one of the drop-ins using the details below.
Financial Support - Hardship Fund
If you have had a negative decision on your asylum claim and need to register with our hardship fund, you can visit the North of England Refugee Service (NERS) who will help you.

Volunteering
If you would like to volunteer, WERS offers two options. You can register with skillsmatch to volunteer at local organisations - we will give you support to do this. You can also apply to volunteer at WERS.
